Imagine Wine 2007 “Winged” Paradise Mountain Syrah

This monstrous Central Coast Syrah aged almost almost 6 years in French, Hungarian & American Oak offers intense attributes of wild blackberry, bursting ripened plum, tobacco, dark chocolate, black pepper with a lingering wisp of coconut. An absolute mammoth on the palate and a divine pairing for that Holiday lamb roast. Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

Santa Barbara Winery Pinot Noir 2009 Sta. Rita Hills

Not much to say about this wine. Alot of conflicting, discombobulated flavors of berries and extremely unbalanced the whole way.  Will say though that the nose on this wine was decent for the first 15 minutes lending aromas of clove, musk, vanilla and a touch of raw earth. As a whole,  extremely disappointed.   😦   Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

Cameron Hughes Lot 254

Just picked up this 2008 Santa Ynez Valley Meritage blend and this wine is stellar for the $12 price point. With refined bouquet of blackberries, incense and a dash of mild dill, this medium bodied 5 grape Bordeaux style blend has beautifully rounded flavors of dark cherry, plum, soil and cassis. Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.
