This Cru Bourgeouis blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc has an attractive bouquet of clay, touch of subliminal sweet berry, perfume, lavender and hearty cigarbox. Sound medium bodied with a compact disposition of deep currant, black cherry, vanilla extract, tobacco and wholesome earth, I absolutely loved the integrated oak influence evolving at the back of the midpalate and all the way throughout the lengthy, relaxed finish. Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
I have had alot of Alamos and Catena wines in the past and have always thought they have been sturdy, stellar buys for the buck, but this 2009 Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon. which retailed for $14.99 and thankfully got for $6.99, was unbalanced, out of whack and not enjoyable in the least. Makes me think that the Argentines because of all their success with the “Malbec Boom” think they can throw anything out and people will snatch it up. 😦

2008 Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon
Just wanted to send out a shout about the Barons De Rothschild Los Vascos Cabernet from Chile. This wine for an everyday wine at $9 a bottle is stellar. Medium bodied with a hint of soil and consistent flavors of red and dark cherry, this wine is a standbye for me and never disappoints. Keep Believing and Keep Drinking.
