2011 Jean-Marc Lafont Morgon, Cote du Py

This dense, deep violet Beaujolais from the Morgon Appellation offers beautiful aromatics and flavors of apricot, peach and refined earth.  An absolute gem for the price.  Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

Cameron Hughes Lot 287

Recently tasted 6 new Cameron Hughes wines and this Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon by far won by a landslide. With a faultless bouquet of red currant, dill and plum and a wonderful attack of zestful juicy fruit, bursting red cherry, raspberry and cassis in the front and mid palate, this wine finishes with hint of dark chocolate, vanilla toasted oak and firm integrated tannin. Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

Cartlidge and Browne Chardonnay 2009

Had this California Chardonnay on a scorching Summer day right before I left Arizona and thought it was wonderful, especially for the price point.   Full of pear, honeysuckle and lemon zest with moderately crisp acidity, this Chardonnay is not overally oaked or Maloactic fermented and has a pleasant Burgundian undertone to it.   Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

2006 Marsannay Louis Latour

There is lean and there is thin when it comes to Red Burgundies.  This wine is thin and very disappointing.
