Cameron Hughes Lot 247 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Hope everyone had an awesome Weekend and this is the final of three of the new Cameron Hughes Wines I tasted this Weekend, and by far my favorite.  This 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet was a wild ride, but in a good way, offering a wide array of aromas ranging from concentrated blackberries, nutmeg, cinnamon, powdered fried dough, lime and cassis. Wholesome and raw expelling gobs of concentrated wild blueberries, zest of allspice with a big vanilla finish, this mammoth wine yearns to be paired with a hearty, hedonistic meal.  Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.

2000 La Tourelle De Croizet-Bages Pauillac

With a coal black, leviathan hue and bouquet of gamy damp earth, musk, lavender and birch bark. This hearty red has flavors of wild  blackberries, gravel and a subliminal hint of faint juicy fruit.  A wild ride that finishes with a semi rugged tannin.  Keep Believing and Keep Drinking.
