2009 Bernard Baudry Chinon Les Granges

This 100% Cabernet Franc from The Loire Valley in France has a thick, rustic bouquet of barnyard, lillacs, lavender and leather while offering smooth tannin, brooding dark fruit, dried herbs, unsweetened black licorice and a refreshing, semi burst of semi sweet blackberry in the mid palate.  This wine will absolutely throw you for a loop if you are use to drinking California wines.  Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.
