Skylite Cellars 2007 Syrah Yakima Valley

This hearty Syrah has a deep, entrancing, concentrated nose of black pepper, smoke, sweet ripe blackberries and rich plum with a glorious mouthfeel and immaculate balance engaging it’s admirer with generous flavors of black licorice, pomegranate and unadulterated gobs of boysenberry. With good firm tannin that will only get better with a tad more age and a lengthy finish of sweet vanilla and toasted oak, Skylite Cellars is truly on another level of excellence that most try to acheive, but fall short time and time again.  Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.
